MONTSONIS CASTLE

MONTSONIS CASTLE 2013-14

Last Friday 18th  October we went to Montsonis Castle. 
We had an English host, Françoise, and thanks to her we could learn a lot of things about the history, the costumes and the life in a castle, but the most important  thing was that we learnt and had fun in ENGLISH.
We played a vocabulary game and we were divided into different teams. We sat down in circles to match some words and some groups were quite quicky trying to do their best. After that, we were in lines, Kelly-Anne read the English word and wey had to run to a whiteboard to  find the correct matching pair.

In the castle, we saw the entrance, the ancestors' room, the dining room, the kitchen, the bedroom and the chapel, the tower, the oven, the celler, the dungeon, the pilgrim's room...  after the visit we had dinner, played and came back to school. It was a sunny hot day and we had the company of some bees and wasps...but definitely we had a wonderful time!
