This week we have met our new conversation assisstant. He comes from England . He has introduced himself in the different classes and then the students have answered a questionnaire. 
Lots of questions, answers, listening, speaking and practising English, of course.

After the great success last year in our activity having lunch with the conversation assistant, this year we are goint to do it again.
From from 5th EP to 4th ESO the students can have lunch with Andy during this academic year 2017-18.

They practise English in a natural way and they speak about everything.

Our new English conversation assistant has arrived. Now, he is with his first family.

Conversation assistants help us in different ways: 

• Conversation practise
• Help with oral exams.
• Explaining the culture of their country.
• Stimulation of student's speaking skills.
• Playing English games, readings, songs.
• Help with linguistic questions.
• Help in other subjects apart from English such as science, art, sport.
• Preparing displays, complementary material, and conversation activities. or any other duty required by the school in order to improve the speaking ability of the student.

As you, know this year, our conversation assistant is Canadian.

His name is Felix and he arrived at our school last 27th October.

He'll help the teachers in Primary and Secondary classes by doing a lot of activities such as:

As you know, this year 2013-14 we have another conversation assistant, a girl named Kelly-Anne. She is from Liverpool in England, and she is helping the teachers in Primary and Secondary with several activities related to pronunciation, games, speaking, readings and much more. She is living with a host family from our school and step by step she is learning  new languages as well.( Spanish and some Catalan). 
Having her with us is a very good experience!
