HALLOWEEN DECORATION.

Apart from the  decoration in the class or in the corridor, we had a good time eating some delicious Halloween biscuits that a student prepared for her classmates. Thanks Ana Zapatero for this wonderful idea. They were delicious!







The school was full of monsters, witches, zombies, ghosts... they collected some sweets from the classes in the trick or treat activity and then they were shared among 5th and 6th year.

CONVERSATION ASSISTANT.




As you know, this year 2013-14 we have another conversation assistant, a girl named Kelly-Anne. She is from Liverpool in England, and she is helping the teachers in Primary and Secondary with several activities related to pronunciation, games, speaking, readings and much more. She is living with a host family from our school and step by step she is learning  new languages as well.( Spanish and some Catalan). 
Having her with us is a very good experience!

HALLOWEEN MAKE-UP WORKSHOP 


These days, near Halloween, we have had a special workshop, it was about Halloween make-up. (Year 5th and 6th) . After some explanations, the children  had some templates, they dessigned the drawings and then, they helped each other to make up their faces. A lot of fun!

MONTSONIS CASTLE

MONTSONIS CASTLE 2013-14

Last Friday 18th  October we went to Montsonis Castle. 
We had an English host, Françoise, and thanks to her we could learn a lot of things about the history, the costumes and the life in a castle, but the most important  thing was that we learnt and had fun in ENGLISH.
We played a vocabulary game and we were divided into different teams. We sat down in circles to match some words and some groups were quite quicky trying to do their best. After that, we were in lines, Kelly-Anne read the English word and wey had to run to a whiteboard to  find the correct matching pair.
      
                  CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF YOU !!!


In the castle, we saw the entrance, the ancestors' room, the dining room, the kitchen, the bedroom and the chapel, the tower, the oven, the celler, the dungeon, the pilgrim's room...  after the visit we had dinner, played and came back to school. It was a sunny hot day and we had the company of some bees and wasps...but definitely we had a wonderful time!

This summer 2013 some students from primary and secondary school have gone to the English Summer Camp at La Molina. They have had a wonderful time.
