Yesterday Andrew showed us the way English people celebrate Christmas time. Then they had a quizz! They learnt a lot of new vocabulary such as pig in blankets, Brussel sprouts, Boxing Day and much more...
This year we have a new activity at the canteen. Our students from 5th EP to 4th ESO can have lunch with Andrew, our native conversation assistant.
They practise English in a natural way and they speak about everything.
Our ex-conversation assistant, Felix, visited us last Monday. We were very happy to see him again and he participated in some activities as well. Thanks Felix for your help!
We are going to finish the week and the best way to do it is playing games with our conversation assistant. This time we have played. WHO IS WHO? Do you want to see the pics? Click here.
Our students in 6th A & B have answered the letters: Results? An explosion of colour, originality and creativity. There are not only simple pieces of paper, but cubes, 3D letters, lapbooks, a lot of decoration with ribbons, stickers and much more...

The school was full of monsters, witches, zombies, ghosts... You could see them all around... the kitchen, the corridors, the offices, the classrooms. They collected some sweets from the classes in the trick or treat activity and then, they were shared among 5th and 6th year. They had a wonderful time! Thanks to our conversation assistant, Andrew S. we have learnt new things about the British culture, specially food and due to this topic, Marcel G.brought us a jar of MARMITE, so we could taste some of it. Was it YUMMY or YUCKY? Look at the pics and videos and you will find out!
Our project in 6th A & B has just started. We have received some letters from a school in Lleida and we have recorded some voice messages for them. Next week we are going to write back to them. If you want to follow the activities, this is the link of our common blog:
Arriving at their new house, Alfie's family have very different ideas about their new home. Alfie's ever-joyful Mum insists the new house is simply wonderful but Alfie is not so sure. Meanwhile, Granny is still trying to climb out of the car!
With only his pet goldfish Sarah for company, Alfie must embark on the spooky, mysterious, and sometimes, dangerous mission of exploring the empty bedrooms upstairs. But are they really empty?
An exciting tale of mystery, mayhem, fun, adventure, danger, bravery, laughter and friendship, 'Ghostboy' teaches the very important lesson that some things aren't always what they seem.
A little girl visits the land of the dead and experiences the Mexican holiday Dia de los Muertos with the help of someone very special to her. A short film by Ashley Graham, Kate Reynolds and Lindsey St. Pierre.
As usual, we can go to celebrate Halloween with our favourite page: angles365. And much more!
I hope that you enjoy your Halloween card. Now turn up your speakers so you don’t miss a thing. Maybe something scary will jump out at you……or…….maybe not. Who knows. So I hope that you enjoy this. Happy Halloween.

Last March, all the students in primary school had the opportunity to see a puppet show "Sarea in Bucate" (Honey, sugar and salt) at our school thanks to the collaboration of the Romanian Education Department.
It was based on a traditional tale adapted to English. We also had the visit of the consul of Romania and Mr. Cullerés (director of "Serveis Territorials d'Ensenyament" in Lleida).
During our week in English we have had a lovely surprise: the arrival of a big box full of letters and small presents for our students. They were thrilled!!!!!
